Glacial
With the arrival of Winter, Samuel created Glacial, a 91cm x 123cm abstract painting using plaster and acrylic paints on canvas.
This beautifully coloured painting creates a striking visual impact with it’s rough texture and severe contrast with it’s mid height cut to grey.
The cool combination of greys, greens, blues and purples as well as the plaster ‘dripping’ into the grey half of the canvas looks like ice, leading to the name Glacial.
Glacial was on display at the Industville showroom in London between November 2019 - January 2020 and at the Contemporary art fair in Surrey in November 2022.
