Challenge
'Challenge' is an original abstract painting using acrylic paints on a cracked clay surface on canvas measuring 40cm x 51cm.
The combination of colours are striking against the white and light grey background.
I balanced the strokes and brushed the colours over, fighting for dominance on the canvas.
This painting incorporates the modern, contemporary and abstract styles, and is simplistic yet striking.
I named it Challenge as my partner challenged me to leave some white on a canvas (something I have a hard time with as you can see from my other paintings)!
