Autumn

Autumn is here! And with its arrival I have created an original painting named Autumn.

It is an abstract composition using colours that are associated with this season over a thick textured surface, a signature style by Samuel Deacon.

Oranges, reds, yellows and greens are scraped and painted over a cracked clay surface on a canvas that measures 80cm x 60cm.

I was inspired by this season and the change of the leaves and I wanted to capture this warm and colourful season in a painting.

The colours collect in the cracks of the clay, making beautiful intricate detail views, as well as being a striking canvas in full.
