Canopy

Canopy is a 60cm x 60cm abstract painting using cracked clay, acrylic paint and gold piping detail.

The dark green and blue background is broken up by three weaving lines which could depict the heartbeat of the forest.

This painting was created during the fires of the amazon rain forest during the summer of 2019 in an attempt to raise money for the WWF.

As such, I will make a donation to the charity with the sale of this painting to help their efforts in preserving our environment.

Shiny effect gold paint highlights the cracks and ridges in the air cracked clay, reflecting light and enhancing the beautiful texture.
