Silence
Silence is a 42cm x 40cm abstract painting using black and white spray paint, acrylic paint and plaster on a hand stretched cotton canvas.
Samuel wanted to step away from his usual over saturated style and adopt a minimal approach to this canvas.
The black and white colour emphasize the rough plastered surface while the flecks of paint adds another beautiful textured element to the composition.
This painting was on display at the Brick Lane Gallery at a group abstract exhibition between 29th March - 9th April.
Silence sits within a black stained oak frame measuring 45.5cm x 43.5cm x 3.5cm.
