Misty Woods
Misty Woods is one of my largest abstract compositions, in my favourite colour palette, using a combination of acrylic paints and cracking clay over a stretched cotton canvas measuring 100cm x 100cm x 2cm.
A combination of green and silver acrylic paints create a beautiful composition that is as beautiful up close as it is from a distance.
I named the painting Misty Wood following its completion. The silver paints would shine as you passed the painting, enhancing the green tones which spread behind it. The size and composition of the canvas looked like a wood or forest scene to me.
